Overview
Western Desert Resources is a diversified resources business with a portfolio of quality mineral exploration assets in the Northern Territory, including iron ore, gold, base metals and uranium projects in world-class mining provinces.
The company's flagship projects are the Roper Bar and Mountain Creek hematitic iron ore tenements, with total Inferred and Indicated Mineral Resource estimates of 352.6 million tonnes @ 40.2% iron ore, and its East Rover gold project near Tennant Creek.
Western Desert was incorporated in 2006 and listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2007.
