 Community Consultation

For the past 12 months, our team has been engaging and consulting with local communities about the proposed project. These discussions have provided us with an understanding of the opportunities and concerns community members have and this information has contributed to the direction of our ongoing project investigations.

This engagement and consultation is part of our long term commitment to actively communicate with local communities.

In February 2012, our team will be spending more time in the communities of Numbulwar, Ngukurr, Minyerri and Borroloola to conduct a series of consultation sessions. Our aim is to meet with as many locals as possible, provide information about the proposed project, and listen to thoughts and ideas about the project. All of the information collected will form part of the EIS submission.

This engagement and consultation will be ongoing throughout the life of the project.

We welcome and encourage comments and feedback, and have a dedicated community relations team who are based in community to ensure easy access.
