Larrimah East

The Larrimah East project comprises Larrimah East EL27472 and Maryfield East EL27473.   The Exploration Licences were granted in February 2010.  The area is located near the Stuart Highway east of Larrimah, about 500 km south of Darwin.

WDR believe the area is prospective for base metals, phosphate and iron ore.   The company has been successful in its application for a co-funding geophysics grant in Round 3 of the Northern Territory Government’s “Bringing Forward Discovery” initiative.   WDR has been awarded the maximum grant of $100,000 to assist with a proposed airborne EM survey of the tenement area.   This work is planned to commence in the third quarter of 2010.   Targets defined will be tested by RC or diamond drilling in 2011.
