WDR have applied for two GEP's (Geothermal Exploration Permit) in the Northern Territory under the Geothermal Energy Act 2009.

GEP27829 application of 3,000 square kilometres is located in the Roper Bar Iron Ore Project area.  GEP27830 application of 6,500 square kilometres is in the northern part of the Beetaloo sub-basin.
